HUMANS AND CLOUDS

If clouds have eyes, the way it see us will be the way we see our mother earth

70 years is the average of us,

and 7 seconds is the average of clouds

imagine how a 7-seconds cloud see our long-lasting form,

and a 70-years human see our mother-earth's long-lasting shape

its the same

the difference is,

clouds are harmless

and us are poisonous

maybe we should learn from clouds.

observe them

feel them

and be like them

after all,

clouds, humans, earths, solar systems, galaxies, and universes

they are all the same.

Hi guys!

have you got any idea what if these two names are put together?
"Annie Leibovitz" and "Marie Antoinette"

well, the result is..
voila..!!

you get an editorial done by Annie Leibovitz for Vogue magazine, with Kirsten Dunst as the main talent..

it was all started when one of my friend asked me whether I've already watched "Marie Antoinette" or not.. a movie from Sofia Coppola, published in 2006 I guess..
then from there, our conversation went to this photo-shoot by Annie Leibovitz..

well that time, i didn't have any ideas about how the pictures are..
because my friend was just simply saying,
"keren Dek, coba deh cari2.. lumayan buat referensi"
>> "It's nice Dek, try to find the pictures for your reference"

and I was.. "ooo okey, got another recommended references.. well, i should check it out later.."
its just another normal thing when two or more photographers are having a lunch and criss-crossing about their references.. no big deal,

BUT..!!
when i got home and searching for this photo-shoot...... suddenly BOOM!!
a very jaw-dropping pictures i found..!

I admire the lighting detail on this shot, how they manage to accomplish the dramatic effect - as if its a romanticism painting

the soft gesture, and soft expression enhanced with soft lighting.. so beautiful..!

HARU AND MINA

happy new year all..!

its 2013 now, and i hope this year i can have lots of 'kamera-adventure' ahead to share..!
=)

im gonna start this year with a compilation of photos from Hideaki Hamada,

if im not mistaken, sometime around September 2011 i posted a picture from him as my profile picture,

its a picture of brothers, each holding a camera ready for their holiday trip.

as i search around from this artist, i found that he had been having exhibitions from this collection.
wow! never knew that he would go that far..!

i never really read about his biography, so as far as i know that he's just like any other father who have a thing for camera, and using it to create memorial pictures of his sons life-journey.

it turned out that his pictures are exhibited in Shanghai at Sincewell Gallery, Kaoshuing..
that's really something if he's not a full-time artist..
i mean, that means his dedication has a fruitful result..!

and seeing this pictures below of how his pictures were exhibited.. it really moves me, in a way to start having a personal project.. a project to explore! not just to make money..

a sincere project that comes from within my desire through camera,
=)

and i hope these pictures from Hideaki Hamada can also persuade you to take your camera, and start shooting for the days to come..!
